When I began searching for how to begin my affiliate marketing journey online, I seen what you see every time you enter a search term in the google search bar. “Done For You“, “Make Money Now“, and “Ready Made Business“. They look nice and very promising, but looks can be deceiving. Many of the “Programs” have a low cost entry. Join now for $1, $19, $39, is they ploy these programs use to get you through the door. They offer the mere basics and then up sell you to buy their MAIN Program where you will make millions overnight. If you ask me, and I am going to be rather frank, they are all FULL OF CRAP!

4 Steps To Success

Affiliate Marketing can be broken down into four simple steps, but it comes with a caveat. In order to become successful, you will need training. You will need to learn how to build your website for speed and rankings. You will need to learn how to compose valuable content, and you will need to gather an audience to read what you post. Without these, you may not do so well just trying to “wing it” in the marketing world. You will need a plan of action!

Affiliate Marketing Broken Down

Step 1- Choose a Niche- The textbook definition is a specialized segment of the market for a particular kind of product or service. Basically, choose something you are passionate about or have loads of interest in. This prevents you from getting bored.

Step 2- Build a Website- Your website is in essence your storefront, where you are able to help your audience, communicate with your audience, and promote products/services to your audience. Some programs will tell you that you do not need one, I am sharing my experience with you and I will tell you right now, this step is crucial!

Step 3- Get An Audience- Without an Audience, you are barking in the wind. Without people coming to your website, there is no way to make money. So it is important to understand how to attract traffic to your website. This is where training pays off! You will need to learn how to set your website up to make the Google Search Engine love it. When you create content, google will index it. The more creative and valuable it is the better off you will be, put quite simply, this is basically how Google ranks it. And Rankings bring your buyers to you.

Step 4- Make Money- The last step is probably the best step! This is where you earn money through affiliate programs.  Basically there are over 550 MILLION products/services that you can promote as an affiliate marketer, in exchange for a commission. To accomplish this, you will need training to be successful.
